"NonStandard Methods and Applications in Mathematics"
Pisa, May 25-31, 2006
Graduate students, young researchers, and contributors coming from disadvantaged areas are invited to apply for financial support.
The deadline is Friday, April 7.
Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, April 21.
Please note that funds are limited, and grants will only provide support to cover the registration fee or accommodation costs (possibly only in part).
No support will be given to cover travel expenses.
Submit your application by email to "nsm2006 at dm.unipi.it" indicating "Grant" in the subject.
Please strictly follow these rules:
- Specify which of the following qualifications apply to you: "Graduate Student", "Young Researcher"; "Contributor from a disadvantaged area". (You may specify more than one).
- If you are a graduate student, ask your advisor to send us a recommendation letter by email.
- If you are a young researcher, include a short CV, and attach the abstract of the talk that you are willing to contribute.
- If you come from a disadvantaged area, include a short CV, specifying your current affiliation.
- DO NOT send us any .doc attachment (nor any other proprietary format), but only use plain text or public formats (.txt, .tex., html, .pdf, .ps).
- Indicate the minimum level of support that would be necessary for you to be able to attend NSM2006. (This means that without this you would not be able to participate.)
- Provide any additional information that would assist the organizers in their allocation of grants for NSM2006.
