Welcome! I am starting this blog to post notes, slides, comments and news related to my research and teaching activity as a mathematician working in the theory of probability and its applications to various fields, ranging from quantum information theory, combinatorial optimization, machine learning and geometry.
In my years of research I accumulated a lot of various material which is not actually worth a peer-reviewed publication, but hopefully others may still find interesting, while I will somehow keep it organized. Many of these posts will eventually to put online a selection of such material.
About the language of this blog: I will try to use English as much as possible, but some material, in particular that from teaching activities will be in Italian, and I am not currently planning to translate it.
