Cortona can be easily reached by train and by car, from Rome (200 km)  and from Florence (120 km).   There are two railway stations on the line Rome-Florence: TERONTOLA-CORTONA (about 15 km from the village) and CAMUCIA-CORTONA (about 5 km from the village). The train trip from Rome to Cortona takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes; from Florence, about one hour and 20 minutes; from Milan, about 4 hour and 30 minutes. The transportation from the railway station to Cortona will be organized locally.
