I am interested in geometric topology, particularly in the study of hyperbolic geometry and the geometry and topology of hyperbolic manifolds. I tend to focus on high-dimensional objects (especially 4-manifolds), which I like to build and describe using both arithmetic tools and face pairings on hyperbolic polytopes. My aim is constructing original examples and studying their geometric and topological properties.

Mathematics and Music
Some time ago I was a visiting student at Ircam in Paris, where I studied some of the mathematical ideas underlying music theory and composition. If you are curious and you know italian, here you can find the thesis that I wrote there.
Here you will find a link to my CV with some more info on myself.
