Research

I am a researcher at the Department of Math. The research area I am currently active in is (loosely speaking) Dynamical Systems; in particular I am interested in problems in which number theoretical issues are involved (such as KAM theory or the metric theory of continued fractions). Dynamical systems are often a good occasion to play with numerical simulations: I sometimes do it using Maple (and gnuplot for displaying data).

I am member of the research group Holomorphic Dynamical Systems and Arithmetic based at the Centro di Ricerca Matematica E.De Giorgi, and I am also connected with the network DINAMICI (the the network of italian researcher in dynamical systems.)
